Pyeongtaek is a city in World War Z.
It is located in South Korea.
Unlike other cities in the game, Pyeongtaek is not an officially named location. It is also the only city without an associated group of four survivors.

Pyeongtaek is the real-world location of Camp Humphreys which appears as one of the Multiplayer maps. Horde Mode takes place in a modified version of Camp Humphreys. Due to all the activity that occurs within the premises, the area has become a frequent target for large zeke swarms.
As the location is set at nighttime, flood lights illuminate the grounds for people to see, suggesting the location is still sufficiently powered and manned by soldiers. In Multiplayer, the map takes place in stormy weather. In Horde Mode, the rain has cleared up, but lightning strikes can still be seen in the sky.
