The MGL, also known as the Hailstorm MGL, is a heavy weapon that fires grenades that are similar to the Thumper GL or the Frag Grenades used by the Gunslinger class. Max ammo capacity is 8 unless a perk is used to increase the max. Unlike the Thumper GL and Frag Grenades, these grenades do not explode on contact, and will bounce for a second before exploding on the ground.
For the classes in Co-op Campaign, the Hellraiser starts with one.

The MGL seems to be a mix of the designs of the Milkor MGL and the RG-6 grenade launchers.
