The Light Automatic Weapon, also known as the Paladin LMG, is a Tier II primary weapon in World War Z.
Performance[]
Reaching level 6 and prestiging the Vanguard class 2 times unlocks a unique perk that increases the weapon's max penetration value by 1 after 5 seconds of continuous fire ("Bull's Horns"). With this perk activated, the Light Automatic Weapon becomes one of the 4 fully automatic primaries in the game that can have +2 max penetration without any class bonuses. Others are:
- Classic Battle Rifle (without the "HP Rounds II" perk)
- Battle Rifle (with the "Full-Auto" perk)
- Advanced SMG (with the "FMJ Rounds I" perk)

Trivia[]
The text on the side of the weapon says "Paladin MFG, Titusville, FL" which is a reference to Knights Armament Company. The Sporting Carbine displays the same set of text.
