Collect one of these bags to refill your class-dictated equipment
Equipment bags are abandoned gear bags containing useful supplies in World War Z.
Equipment bags are necessary to restore equipment charges. If you are low or completely out of equipment, take one that you find on the way for a refill.

Co-op Campaign[]
When near an equipment bag, a button must be held to take it. When collecting one, players will fully restore any expended equipment charges. Since the bag always brings you back to full capacity, you should try to use up any remaining charges if possible. The best use of an equipment bag is when you are completely out of equipment as this will maximize their use. In higher difficulties, they appear less and less frequently, meaning their contents must be stretched out to the fullest when they appear to make them the most effective.
Equipment such as the C4, Claymore Mine, Supply Bag, and Stim Pistol are great examples of following this mindset. C4s can be detonated at a specific time or place, mines can be set in desired locations for perimeter defense, bags will remain stationary until all of its explosive ammo has been used up, and stims will last for a decent amount of time until it fully wears off.
Consider the classes before collecting an equipment bag. If there is a Fixer, Medic, or Dronemaster within your group, direct their attention towards the bag and give them the first chance to take it instead. If a fight against a large wave of zekes is imminent, consider letting the Hellraiser or Exterminator in your team take it to refill their explosives. Have good judgment and consider the current situation to decide whether you should take the equipment bag for yourself or let someone else take it.
Multiplayer[]
In every game mode in Multiplayer, equipment bags spawn frequently all over the map in specific spots. They can be picked up by both teams. There are a couple of differences with how equipment bags function in Multiplayer.
Firstly, equipment bags can be collected simply by walking on them. Secondly, equipment is only recharged in increments. This means that with equipment bags alone, four are necessary to gain a single equipment charge. Third and lastly, the bags also provide ammo for primary and secondary weapons.
