The Classic Bullpup Rifle, also known as the Le Clairon, is a tier II primary weapon featured in World War Z.


Overview[]

The Classic Bullpup Rifle, or Le Clairon, is the first Burst-Fire rifle.

Design[]

The firearm itself is based on the FAMAS (Fusil d'Assaut de la Manufacture d'Armes de Saint-Étienne or Assault Rifle from the Saint-Étienne Weapon Factory), specifically the F1 variant with a G2 magwell.

Its in-game lore name is derived from its nickname given by French troops, Le Clarion or the bugle due to its distinct shape.

The third upgrade gives it a FAMAS Valorisé (Upgraded) upper, with the latter adding the IR remote control grip from the FAMAS FÉLIN. The Remote grip itself is useless due to it lacking the FÉLIN's large thermal scope.

Performance[]

The Classic Bullpup Rifle has a two-round burst, almost identical, but slightly worse then its three-round burst counterpart, the Bullpup Rifle, it can often be found earlier in the level due to it being tier II.

As the Classic Bullpup Rifle is upgraded, it will increase its magazine size from 30 to 42, in addition to general statistic improvements.
