The Bullpup Rifle (XTAR-95) is a tier III primary weapon featured in World War Z.
Overview[]
The tier 3 Bullpup Rifle, or XTAR-95, is one of the 3 burst fire rifles in the game. Other burst fire rifles are the Classic Bullpup Rifle (referred to as "Le Clairon") and the Sniper Rifle with the unique "Two-Rounds Burst" perk equipped.
It is one of the most accurate weapons in the game, capable of achieving an "Accuracy" score of 9 without any extra perks. It is also one of the few weapons that have penetration power of 2 by default.
The tier 3 Bullpup Rifle is the only weapon that can be equipped with a fire mode selector. When the unique "Selective Fire" perk is equipped, the rifle becomes fully automatic by default. A switch to the burst fire mode is performed by simply zooming in, and zooming out switches back to full-auto.
With the "Selective Fire" perk equipped, it becomes the only fully automatic weapon in the game to receive the extra penetration bonus from the Fixer's "Power Shot" perk. When both of these bonuses are applied, it also becomes the only fully automatic rifle with consistent penetration power of 3. In full-auto, its rate of fire surpasses that of the Advanced SMG, making it one of the fastest-firing weapons.
Since it is a tier 3 rifle, it cannot be chosen as a starting weapon in PvE modes.

The Bullpup Rifle is a tier III burst-fire rifle, with low damage per bullet (for a tier III weapon), high accuracy, a moderate rate of fire, and a penetration value of 2. It is an upgraded version of the Classic Bullpup rifle.
