Angel Flores is one of the four playable survivors in the New York episode.
Appearance[]
Angel Flores is a brown Hispanic male. He is portly, has a shaven bald head, and an anchor goatee.
He has several ornate tattoos on both of his arms and left hand. He wears a chrome watch on his right wrist. Several intricately designed silver rings are worn on some of his fingers on both hands (three on his right, two on his left). He is never seen without his signature pair of sunglasses.
Angel carries his knife in a holster on his right hip which sticks out of the jersey's split hem on that side. A pistol is tucked away on the back of the jersey and in the waistband of his pants behind him.
Outfits[]
Outfit 1 (Default Appearance)[]
Angel wears a large black jersey with large split hems and red stripes on the sleeves. The number 12 appears front and back of the jersey as well as on both shoulders. The words "New York" appear on the back above the number 12. A white undershirt is worn underneath of his jersey. His tan pants are held up by a brown leather belt and a pair of different-sized chains dangle around the front left pocket. He wears black sneakers.
Outfit 2[]
While retaining the appearance of Outfit 1, Angel additionally wears a stylish blue bandana folded and tied to his head like a headband.

While retaining the appearance of Outfit 3, Angel also wears the stylish blue bandana of Outfit 2.
Backpack[]
For Outfits 1 and 3, Angel carries a dark blue and black travel duffle bag. It is slung against his waist and lower back by a shoulder strap. The bag's top handles are held together by a hook-and-loop fastener. The word "COOL" is written on the bag and a logo with the initials "DF" can be seen on the strap's pad.
For Outfits 2 and 4, Angel's backpack changes color from dark blue and black to purple, navy, and black.
Biography[]
Early Life[]
Angel was born into a life of crime and gangs. Throughout his childhood, his father cared for and raised him. He taught him how to survive in the harsh streets of New York and use a gun. Due to the violent gang ties and the environment Angel grew up in, he would come to witness the death of his only parent. With time, he went on to become a respected member of the Latin Kings gang, complete with his own crew.
Night of the Outbreak[]
One night, Angel was stopped by a cop. Struggling, he was forcefully pressed against his car and was about to be cuffed and detained when screams began filling the air. To both the officer and Angel's surprise, they witness the zekes attacking and infecting people on the streets. Angel was able to break himself free from the officer's hold and began fighting off the dead that were quickly approaching with a revolver. Although greatly outnumbered and surrounded, he came out victorious and most importantly, alive.
Despite the tremendous loss he suffered early on, Angel insists that he would have it no other way. He is grateful for the life he still has, because without it and all the harsh lessons it had taught him, he would not have it anymore.
